In honor of the Kentucky Derby being run today, I’m sharing this recipe for Bourbon Brownies with Sea Salt. The bourbon will be pouring freely today at  Churchill Downs  in Louisville, Ky., where the celebrated horse race has been run since 1875. What’s more, for the first time since 1973, Kentucky’s bourbon distillers produced more than 1 million barrels in 2012, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association announced in April. So, instead of making a vile mint julep, the race’s official drink, I propose a cookie with a kick and a pinch!
